Energy Assessments and Evaluations

EES’ Step Combustion group continues to provide boiler MACT tuning, energy assessments, and plant evaluations for utility and industrial boilers. Boiler MACT tuning and tuning assistance typically consists of baseline testing, equipment inspection, repairs, and subsequent tuning for combustion efficiency. Our combustion experts have both completed and assisted with all aspects of the tuning programs. We have successfully provided these services for stand-alone heating boilers to fleets of package boilers.

Through Step Combustion, EES has also provided energy assessments to industrial and utility customers. Our energy assessments have included detailed analysis of power consumption including energy demand (electrical, steam) and losses. They have included evaluation of lighting, building heat, process heating, cycle efficiency, equipment upgrades, as well as energy losses. Please contact us for more information.
