EES offers emissions control technologies including SCR for nitrogen oxides (NOx) emission control from marine applications. Air pollution from ships and marine applications is on the rise and global emission standards are increasingly stringent. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has been promulgating progressively stricter limitations for NOx emissions from vessels based on their date of engine installation, with the strictest Tier III requirements taking into effect in designated Emission Control Areas (ECA) beginning in 2016.

EES has extensive experience with SCR systems for stationary sources.  Our SCR and NOx reduction experience includes a broad range of gaseous, liquid, and solid fuel including: natural gas, refinery gas, syngas, distillate oils, residual oils, petcoke and coals.
