EES’ ownership includes SCB international, an industrial technology company with annual revenues in excess of $100MM per year, a state of Connecticut technology investment fund with assets of over $150 MM, as well as private investors.

EES core technologies include KLeeNscrub Hg Capture (Re-emission Control), CoalTreat ash chemistry modifiers (anti-slag, efficiency improvement),  KLeeNwater (water treatment systems), and Opacitrol (opacity reducing formula for oil and liquid fuel fired boilers). EES offers new technologies in waste water treatment through a strategic partnership with ProChem, Inc. EES also offers their newly acquired STEP Combustion platform to compliment EES’ technology offerings. STEP provides combustion technologies, burner upgrades, LNB, in-furnace NOx Reduction and post combustion NOx reduction technologies (SNCR, SCR) as well as a host of engineering and emissions control services.
